It was prepared by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). To stick to the tradition, at the very same time the Report was also launched in the greater part of the countries of the European Union, as well as in Norway, Turkey and Croatia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of this event the Bulgarian National Focal Point on Drugs and Drug Addictions and the National Center on Drug Addictions organized the III-rd Annual Expert Meeting 2007 on the theme: \u2018Facts and trends in the distribution and use of drugs in Europe and Bulgaria\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EU Annual Report and current data on Bulgaria for 2006 on the problems of drugs and drug addictions were presented at the event. Invited to take part were experts from all interested institutions, non-governmental organizations and journalists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Report was <strong>presented<\/strong> by Mr. Roumen Sedefov, Manager of the \u2018Activity connected with new drugs\u2019 unit at the \u2018Epidemiology, crime and markets\u2019 stream of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA).
