This was announced in the Annual Report for 2010 published today in Lisbon. A total of 41 new psychoactive substances have been officially reported for the first time to both the agencies in 2010. This is the largest number of new substances ever reported within a year, significantly more than in 2009 (24 substances) and 2008 (13 substances).
The complete list of the notified substances attached to the report includes: synthetic cannabinoids, synthetic derivatives of confirmed drugs as well as herbal substances.
